Our roles and expectations as parents can feel overwhelming, especially as we decipher bombarding and often conflicting messages on how we should be raising our children. Amidst shifting social dynamics and technological advances, it is easy to fall into complacency as we negotiate our daily pressures and responsibilities of family life.
The Contemplative Parenting Group focuses on how to raise children with intention. We explore our roles as parents and messages we teach our children, but more importantly what our children teach us about ourselves.
The group provides space to cultivate our innner life and develop a spiritual practice, not as a catch phrase for being peaceful and happy, but to becoming more authentically ourselves in relationship to the experiences our children bring into our lives.
